Online shopping has been a growing trend all over the world. With more individuals feeling comfortable to shop online for their personal items, there are now a range of online deals that individuals can use. This is a popular way for companies to increase and gain more customers without having an offline shopfront traditionally.
Ebates has acquired FatWallet and AnyCoupons in a push to become a leader in online discounts and rewards. Ebates has already become known as a market leader in online cash back shopping. The company has recently announced the creation of Performance Marketing Brands, a new company through which it plans to operate the most rewarding shopping loyalty programs. Combined spending totals for Ebates.com, AnyCoupons.com and FatWallet.com are expected to top $1 billion this year.
That total puts Performance Marketing Brands on par with the top 50 internet retailers in the world. All three websites will continue to operate independently, but the common ownership under the Performance Marketing Brands umbrella will give site user access to better deals and more compelling rewards. It will also make it easier for retailer to advertise via a single corporate partner to reach some of the savviest shoppers in the world.

Not having done much shopping over the internet and then recently stumbling across what seems to me like the best selection of fine jewelry at goldsea24, I realize that online shopping has truly revolutionized the marketplace. I know…am the last hold-out of traditional in-store shopping? I hope not, because browsing and shopping in boutiques, stores and malls make for great shopping experiences, too. However, given the ease and convenience of shopping from the comfort of my own home, I see that finding online deals is a great shopping experience in and of itself. I can sip my coffee, make comparisons, and show things to my friends or family for their opinion by them sending links or having them log on. I think it's great to have both options of browsing in stores and browsing the online marketplace. After all, even just for the consideration of weather alone, I'm glad to be more aware, now, of my online options. I live in an area of extreme weather, so it happens more than in many other places that I really wouldn't care to leave to the house in order to go shopping. Now I have a whole new marketplace available to me. Watch out websites, here I come!

A new startup deals site can best be described as a cross between sites like Groupon and eBay. Chicago company Bid My Way lets deal seekers sign up for free via Facebook, set a budget, and then bid once on an item or buy it immediately at 95% of its value.
The site sells coupons for services such as spa packages, and gives buyers more control with the ability to pick their own price and set their own parameters. The site charges a bidder's credit card after he or she wins an auction. Bid My Way also incorporates social media by enabling subscribers to input their spending budget and preferred location, and then name their best price among the restaurants that pop up from the search. A subscription to the site is free, and winning b ids are kept confidential. The participating merchants decide to accept or reject offers without disclosing how they reached their decisions.
