GameStop Coupon Deals

The large retail video game chain GameStop has been forced to apologize to their customers for pulling a pre-packaged coupon deals out of PC editions of the game Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
The company has paid for this mistake in more ways than one. In addition to taking a hit to their reputation, they also gave out $50 gift cards to all of their affected customers. GameStop sent an email apology for their decision to yank the coupon at the last minute to members of their rewards program who had pre-ordered the game. The CEO himself penned the email to Power Up Rewards members for removing the competitor's coupon from the standard PC edition of the game from Square Enix. GameStop said the decision was made because they weren't aware that the product box would feature the competitor's offer until the last minute.
